Hole by Hole
Hole #1 Par 4
Straight away par 4 hole playing uphill with a sloping fairway from right to left. Keep your ball away from the Natural areas on the right and the large Olenear and remember the second shot plays uphill to a 3 tiered green.
Hole #2 Par 3
This pretty par 3 has water left and Out of bounds right. The hole does play slightly down hill making club selection very important. The green has a good amount of slope from back to front.
Hole #3 Par 5
A good opportunity for a birdie with a good drive that avoids the water left and fairway bunkers on the left and right. Go for it in two or layup to have an easy wedge shot to this large 2 tiered green.
Hole #4 Par 3
Ask anyone and they will tell you 3's a good score on this long par 3 with a narrow green protected with bunkers left and right. Green slopes from back to front and right to left.
Hole #5 Par 5
This Par 5 requires 3 good shots. Drive you ball away from the bunkers and out of bounds on the right and then lay up left of the water to give yourself a chance to put your ball close. Green slopes severely from Left to right.
Hole #6 Par 3
Another good Par 3 with the green sloping away from you and from the right. Mounds protect the greens left and Bunkers to the right and over. Again make your 3 and head to the next.
Hole #7 Par 4
After the tough par 3's this short par 4 gives you an opportunity for another birdie. Be careful with your tee shot to avoid the fairway bunker and the Large Australian Pine which guard this smallish green with water on the left and long.
Hole #8 "Signature Hole" Par 5
This tremendous par 5 rivals any golf hole in the world with water coming in to play on every shot. A good tee shot is a must. Place your ball short of the water and then you need to hit another well placed shot short of the water protecting the green and away from the fairway bunker. "Good Hole"
Hole #9 Par 4
This par 4 requires and accurate tee shot to place your ball short of the canel that runs across the fairway. The second shot plays longer as you are going slightly uphill and normally into a stiff prevailing breeze coming of the ocean. This green has a large slope from back to front. Keep your ball below the hole.
Hole #10 Par 4
This good looking par 4 requires a sensible tee shot hugging the mounds on the left. This completed leaves a reasonable short shot to the green that runs away from you. Plays longer than it looks as its slightly uphill. If the pin is located on the front left keep your ball below the flag.
Hole #11 Par 3
The shortest hole on the course but don't let that fool you. Due to the ocean breezes this short par 3 can play almost 2 clubs longer depending on the wind and slightly uphill.
Hole #12 Par 3
This tricky par 3 requires a high shot that lands softly as the green slopes away from the tee. Like most of our par 3's 3's a good score.
Hole #13 Par 5
This short but tough par 5 requires accuracy the whole way. Out of bounds Left and water the entire length on the right. A good tee shot might enable you to go for it but be warned the water comes in more than you think in front of the green. This green slopes severely from left to right.
Hole #14 Par 4
Another nice par 4 which requires a smart tee shot. Play short of the bunker in front of you or risk it all and challenge the fairway between the waters. This small green requires an accurate shot to get it close.
Hole #15 Par 4
The smart shot is to place your ball toward the right fairway bunker enabling you to have a clear shot to this raised green. Another good risk reward hole.
Hole #16 Par 3
Number 8 is our signature hole but if we could have 2 this is the next. A great par 3 with water left right and long. The waste area from the tee to the green makes this hole look awesome. From the back tees it plays over 200 yards and demands all you have to hit the green. Take another 3 and enjoy.
Hole #17 Par 4
For those of you who can give it a go. Be warned trouble is everywhere. Water and Bunkers Right and Water and Out of Bounds Left. The right shot is to lay up to about 100 yards and rely on your short game to get it close.
Hole #18 Par 4
This is the best driving hole on the course. Hit your ball towards the fairway bunkers straight away and you will have a short approach shot to this small and well protected green. Your friends will be watching closely with a cold drink from the club houses deck. No pressure.
